Nicolas VILLELA

Born into a multicultural family, my childhood was shared between Europe and Latin America. These migrations sharpened my sense of observation and my curiosity about people in their environment and their questions of identity. Photography naturally imposed itself as the ideal medium to share my vision of the world. The aesthetics of my photographs are therefore marked by a documentary sensitivity. I try to create a dialogue between art and document, lyricism and narration, the sublime and the ordinary.
